DRYFIKS™ Hydroloq+ is an interface waterproofing coating for ready to use for cementitious substrates: concrete and plaster. It penetrates porous substrates and forms a pore-blocking layer inside the structure unlike traditional waterproofing paints.
Because the coating is vapor-permeable, it allows vapour to pass but further prevents any liquid water movement making the used walls dry without trapping moisture.

Surface must be Saturated Surface Dry (SSD) prior to application.

Application Method

For Fresh Plaster
Ensure masonry is fully cured.
Efflorescent dust should be removed from the surface.
In case of application at bitumen membranes, we recommend to apply DRYFIKS™ Hydroloq+ in single coat using brush without dilution.
Keep coverage at 3.5–4.5 m²/liter pressure.
Allow drying for 4–6 hours.
Use two coats of wall putty for smooth finish.
Apply final decorative topcoat.

Repainting / Renovation Application

Surface in Good Condition
Sand with 180 grit sandpaper.
Clean dust.
Use a single coat of DRYFIKS™ Hydroloq+.
Allow 4–6 hours drying.
Apply putty and topcoat.

Damaged Surface
Remove old putty down to level of plaster.
Repairs: Extend repair area one foot surrounding damaged section.
Ensure no efflorescence remains.
Apply single coat Hydroloq+.
This can also be done with two coats of wall putty.
Sand and apply topcoat paint.

What are the restrictions & cautions of using DRYFIKS Hydroloq+?

DRYFIKS^TM Hydroloq+ is not intended for use over substrate moisture levels of 70%, thus there should be no active leakage before application.
After using DRYFIKS^TM Hydroloq+, refrain from using lambi putty or any other local putties.
Two wet-on-wet applications (with a 30-minute gap between coats) would be necessary for less absorbent surfaces in order to attain the forced coverage of 3.5-4.5 sq.m/L (40–50 sq.ft/L).
When brushing, please make sure that the coating fills all of the wall’s pores, corners, and joints.
Avoid covering the DRYFIKS^TM Hydroloq+ with the topcoat.
If the outside temperature is below 10°C or could drop to this level within four hours of application, do not apply. Avoid using when the humidity is more than 90%.
