DRYFIKS™ Crack-Seal 05 is ideal for all types of wall surfaces, from interior to exterior. This flexible acrylic putty is formulated to withstand environmental stress and changing weather conditions, so it will give you a durable seal around your structure that will prevent water from penetrating through to the interior and help protect the building’s facade against progressive deterioration.

Hairline Cracks

Moisture, dust, and stains can build up over time in hairline cracks. This buildup can lead to dampness in the building and ultimately result in the failure of the paint. Surface Preparation

Proper preparation ensures effective bonding.

Dust, oil, grease and loose particles shall be removed.
Scrape painter’s putty or POP until plaster surface is seen.
Open hairline cracks if necessary to at least 1 mm in width.
Wet the surface before application.
Porous Substrate: Apply primer coat using:
Crack-Seal 05: Water 1: 1 ratio.

Warning: The first layer must be tacky before adding filler.

Method of Application

Step 1: Filling the Crack
Use spatula or putty knife.
Firmly press DRYFIKS™ Crack-Seal 05 into crack.
Fill without air pockets and more.

Step 2: Levelling
Level surface through levelling blade or palti patra.
Avoid cavities or bubbles.

Step 3: Second Coat
Let first coat cure 24 hours.
For best performance, apply second coat.

Step 4: Final Finishing
Allow 48 hours air curing.
Is applicable to POP, putty, primer and paint system.

What are the available sizes for DRYFIKS CRACK SEAL05?

Packaging size of each product are 1 kg, 5 kg, 50Kg and 20 kg.

  • Using a spatula or putty knife, press DRYFIKSTM CRACK-SEAL05 firmly into the crack just once. Then, use palti patra to level the surface.
  • Avoid formation of cavities or bubbles during application.
  • Allow to cure for 24 hours and then apply 2nd coat of DRYFIKSTM CRACK-SEAL05.
  • After 48 hours of air curing, which is recommended for optimal results, POP or painter’s putty can be applied.
  • Clean tools & equipment and hands with soap and warm water, immediately after use.
  • Not suitable in structural cracks, expansion joints & separation gaps.
  • Should be used for cracks less than 5 mm thickness.
  • Avoid using it when it’s raining or wet.
  • The drying time will be prolonged if the application is below 10°C.
  • After application, tightly seal the bottle.
